Maximizing the content on each page will increase the meaning of the content theme. Increasing the meaning of the content will show the search engines that your themed link page has pertinent links with that particular theme. Showing the search engines that your themed link pages are pertinent makes for a high quality link page for the sites with which you are exchanging links. Providing themed link pages that the search engines find pertinent, and making sure that those pages stay cached, hellps to make sure the links pointing at you, will continue to be found in the search engines.
